Udda Äventyr

"Odd Äventyr has been seeking adventure and pushing boundaries since 1989. Lack of adventure has become a common ailment and we want to remedy that! We are a group that shows you natural areas around Älvsbyn with its varied forests, bogs, lakes and ponds. For this, we have a unique herd of horses, long hunting experience and knowledge of the nature in Älvsbyn municipality.
Our tours are everything from day tours up to twelve days both during the dryland season and winter.

Storforsen Nature Reserve

The mighty rapids Storforsen on the River Pite is one of the largest rapids in Europe. In the nature reserve there are trails and fireplaces, some of them adapted for wheelchair users. In summer, the café is open and there is an outdoor stage. In the forest along the shores there are many flowers and birds to discover.  

Royal Corner

The restaurant has indoor seating and, weather permitting, outdoor seating on their terrace. The ambition in the kitchen is to always work with first-class ingredients, preferably with a local connection

Kanisbacken

Softly nestled between forested mountains next to the river is Älvsbyn and approx. 4 km from the center of Älvsbyn you will find Kani's recreation area. Here you will find, among other things, the resort's slalom slope with many fine pisted runs of varying degrees of difficulty, several tracks for cross-country skiing, a toboggan run with a toboggan run, restaurant Canis and Kanisbackens Campingre significantly older than that.
